Hello from the Arctic Northwest! A good nights sleep brings a fresh perspective this morning. The cup of coffee doesn't hurt either.
We had breakfast after seeing more of the dorm facility and have now headed to the middle school. A 5 minute Suburban ride past the Arctic Ocean brought us here. It is interesting to see the housing. Lots of small homes up on stilts seems to be the norm. From what I understand, they are nicely setup inside despite the somewhat 'cold' outside impression!
The school is very modern and filled with energy. I will start the day observing the work of our teachers in their classrooms. A few kids are around...some in the gym playing ball and others in the media center. Should be a great day!
